REFLECTION DAY  WILL BE SCREENED DECEMBER 2, 2017 AT THE INTERNATIONAL CHIDREN'S MEDIA CENTER & THE HARBOUR'S 

GLOBAL GIRLS FILM FESTIVAL

IN CHICAGO, IL.

 

Lisa's latest film project as writer/director -- the short film Reflection Day from Aquarius Productions -- was also chosen as an OFFICIAL SELECTION at three other film festivals - The Western New York Black Film Festival (Screened Feb. 22, 2014) the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival (Screened Mar. 19, 2014) and the Women of African Descent Film Festival in Brooklyn, NY (screened May 3, 2014 and encore Fall, 2014).

 

The film centers on an elderly black woman desperate to go vote as she struggles with unresolved memories and the onset of Alzheimer's. It stars Edythe Davis, Rich Pierre-Louis and Bill Brown.
